Information Minister and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud said, BNP’s movement has broken down, leaders have run out of breath.

He opined so while speaking as the chief guest at the peace rally organized by Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League at Mohammadpur Town Hall square in the capital on Saturday afternoon.

Highlighting the reason for organizing the peace rally, the Broadcasting Minister said, 'BNP wants to create chaos in the country with its allies. They are again playing agitation game like in 2013, 14, 15 to make excuses for arson, burning people and cars, setting fire to property. For that reason, as a government party, we have the responsibility to stand by the people so that no one can destroy the peace and order in the country-society, cities-ports, villages or towns. This is why we have a peace rally.'

Hasan Mahmud said, 'Last December, BNP held a rally on the street in front of their party office in Nayapaltan, started vandalism on the street. At the behest of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the convict Begum Khaleda Zia, who was staying at Gulshan residence, said that the country will run from December 10. After the police recovered fresh bombs, more than 2000 water bottles, sacks of rice and pulses from their office, they went to rally at Golapbag cattle market. Since then, they protest to foreigners and every month they say that the days of Awami League are over. By doing this, their movement has now broken, the leaders including Mirza Fakhrul have run out of breath. But the conspiracy did not stop, the conspiracy of election vandals did not stop.

Information Minister said, 'Mirza Fakhrul Sahib said he is in fear of arrest. We don't want to arrest anyone. But 'police is always in the mind of a thief'. If he is planning sabotage, attack or any crime, then he himself can be apprehensive. Because even if we don't want to arrest, the police will not release the crime planners and criminals.'

Awami League's joint general secretary Hashan said, "For all these reasons, the leaders and workers must be careful," said, "Insha'Allah, Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina will win the popular vote in the next election due to the development of the country and the people, for the fourth time in a row and for the fifth time since the beginning."

Mohammadpur Thana Awami League President Principal MA Sattar presided over the meeting while local Awami League leaders were present.
